Happening Saturday September 16 from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday September 17 from 11 am to 5 pm, this art and community-focused street festival has brought Downtown Durham to life with arts, crafts, entertainment, food, and fun for over forty years!
Artists from across the country display their work in clay, drawing, glass-blowing, jewelry, painting, photography, and printmaking. Over 600 performing artists will showcase their talents.
The mission of the Durham Arts Council is to promote excellence in and access to the creation, experience, and active support of the arts for all the people of the community. The Centerfest Arts Festival is their biggest event which will bring around 35,000 weekend visitors.
