Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) Fall performances include:

The Reunion: Fri. Oct. 30 at 8 pm
Featuring Faith Evans, Mase, Total, Carl Thomas and Black Rob
Faith Evans is a multi-platinum Grammy® Award-winning recording artist, songwriter, arranger and record producer who has released eight studio albums, with over 18 million albums sold. Both performers, Nase and Black Rob, have worked with Puff Daddy.  Total is an R&B trio from New Jersey.  Carl Thomas topped the R&B charts in 1999 and has sold more than 4 million albums.  

The Official NCCU Homecoming Concert: Sat. Oct. 31 at 8 pm Featuring Big Sean Feat with Rich Homie Quan, Rapsody, and Roland Champaine  North Carolina Central University’s Homecoming Week begins on Sunday October 25. 

Mary J. Blige, Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, performs one night only, on Nov. 1 during the end of NCCU’s Homecoming Week  With worldwide sales of more than 50 million albums, nine Grammy® Awards (plus a staggering 29 nominations) and four American Music Awards, international superstar Mary J. Blige’s concert has SOLD OUT.  The concert begins at 7:30 pm for the lucky ticket owners.

So You Think You Can Dance, the 13-time Primetime Emmy® Award-winning show that sparked America’s fascination with dance, performs live on stage on Tues. Nov. 3 at 7:30 pm Celebrating its momentous 12th season and its exciting new Stage v. Street format, come see the So You Think You Can Dance Top 10 finalists in motion.

Wanda Sykes returns to DPAC on Thurs. Nov. 5 at 8 pm Wanda has been called “one of the funniest stand-up comics” by her peers and ranks among Entertainment Weekly’s 25 Funniest People in America.  She is a performer, writer, and actress.  Her television work has included The Chris Rock Show from 1997 to 2000.  A fan favorite is her acting performance as Ruby, the assistant to actress Jane Fonda’s character in Monster-in-Law in 2005.  She continues to entertain audiences in her comedy routine.

Grammy® Award-winning singer-songwriter John Prine returns to DPAC on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 8 pm  Considered a “songwriter’s songwriter” the long list of songwriters who have recorded gems from his extensive catalog include: Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt, the Everly Brothers, John Denver, Kris Kristofferson, and Carly Simon.

Patti Labelle, the Godmother of Soul, performs Sat. Nov. 7 at 8 pm  Back by popular demand, two-time Grammy® Award-winning singer, New York
Times bestselling author, and three-time Emmy® Award-nominated
actress Patti LaBelle returns to DPAC after soldout shows in 2012 and
2014.
